"Love this place... the Italian food is excellent: Went to Lucullans for the first time. Some friend said to check it out...... I was really impressed. I think they've been in town for around 27 years.....they must be doing something right. The specials were great! I had salmon in a butter lemon sauce and I can honestly say it was the best meal I've ever had. My friend had "Cajun Pasta"..... lot's of seafood in a creamy spicy sauce. Really good. I would highly recommend this place and plan to go back soon!"

"Great for a Slow, Romantic Date: My husband and I are not ordinarily fancy people. Usually, we stick with cheap, quick eats when we go out. However, when our palettes want a break from the quick and easy, we head to Lucullan's. The food there is absolutely delicious. I'm quite fond of the Tortellini California, a dish combining cheese tortellini, sun-dried tomatoes, black olives, and pine nuts. Actually, I'm salivating a little now just thinking of it. Their drink menu is acceptable and they don't have a bad selection of wines for the type of restaurant it is. The ambiance is nice, especially late in the evening. For a more formal type of restaurant, the atmosphere is actually a little laid back and enjoyable. In the many times I have been there, I have found the wait staff to be extremely pleasant, if a bit slow at times. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to take their sweetheart out to a nice supper in Ames."
